The Alchemist

The Alchemist had it's opening on Thursday 28th October 2010, the old Barracuda bar has undergone a major re-fit, gone are the pool tables, fruit machines and TV screens in comes a stylishly sophisticated bar and grill.

Food starts with breakfast at 8am, from full english (£6.95) to porridge (£3.50) and goes on until lat in the evening with mains around £8. The menu had a good selection and did look very tempting, although I did not eat.

I'm not sure what the sports bar lads are going to make of the change, but, from my view point, it is a excellent bar to have byte to eat and a chat.
