Phoenix

The first non-smoking pub in the City, which I think is a good thing. It's a good place to stand outside during the summer and watch the crowds heading towards Liverpool St, although you would have thought you could do this from inside, but for some reason the windows are very high above the ground. It has an All-Bar-One type feel, not the sort of pub I really like. I've found the service to be pretty slow too.
I'm not sure if it's The Phoenix or just Phoenix, but as you can see from the sign, I'm sticking with Phoenix.
Oh and currently there is an excellent view of the building work being carried out on the old Stock Exchange.
