London Stone, Cannon Street

Cannon Street is the home of the London Stone a Roman stone first referenced back in the 16th Century by historian John Stowe. It is also home the London Stone the pub, this is a downstairs venue on a Gothic theme. It does get busy but not as much as other pubs in the area, it' a very unusual pub and worth a visit but I can't recommend the food. The entrance to the gents is through a book case door, always fun watching the newbies try and find it (unfortunately the gents always smells bad).
