Duke of Somerset

Just inside the eastern edge of the City off the busy Mansell Street (I know it has a E1 post code, but I assure you, it is inside the City), the Duke of Sumerset is a large pub with an outside terrace to the front, and is located in the ground floor of an modern office block. It has everything a pub should and that includes London Pride and IPA, although you will find no City history here, for a reasonable beer and a bite to eat, particularly in the summer months this is fine.

If you did want something more 'original' pop 50 yards around the corner to Still & Star and enjoy the difference.
