Right opposite Cannon Street
Station, this All Bar One is ideal for a lunchtime or evening drink,
as always, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Get there early and
you'll even get table service for the drinks.
All Bar One's might not be your cup of tea, appealing especially to women,
but have not doubt that they are owned and run by one of the heritage
in the British pub history, Mitchells & Butlers. Originally founded
they have had a chequered history of acquisitions and mergers, most notable
was the merger in 1961 with Bass, Ratcliff and Gretton Ltd and the forming
of Bass PLC which was renamed Six Continents PLC.
In October 2002 Six Continents announced the separation of the Hotels
Retail divisions, creating Six Continents Retail. This has led to the
rebirth of the Mitchells & Butlers name as a new independent force
bars and restaurants, brands including Vintage Inns, Ember Inns, Toby
Carvery, O'Neill's, All Bar One and Scream, as well as some well known
heritage pubs within the City of London; Williamsons Tavern, Ye olde
