Best London Beer Gardens

If you agree that there's nothing better than soaking up the sunshine with a plate of great pub food and a refreshing cold drink in your hand, then you probably love visiting beer gardens.

Every beer garden has its own unique style which makes it special, whether it's the bucolic atmosphere and fine foliage, or its the locally brewed beer and the barbecue food. During the week you might meet up with your friends to play at partycasino.com; or have a game of football in the park, but when it comes to the weekend, why not let your hair down and visit one of London's beautiful beer gardens to make a nice change? What better way to spend a summer's day than to relax with your friends, have a chat and enjoy the sunshine?

The Albion

This Georgian pub, situated between Upper Street and Caledonian Road, has a quaint English charm, entirely in keeping with its name. Plus, it's far enough away from the road that you will only hear a whisper of traffic. Its simple deco of wooden tables in the walled garden is jazzed up by the surrounding trees and colourful flowers.

Location: 10 Thornhill Road, Islington, N1 1HW.

Junction Tavern

This popular pub is famed for its excellent and high quality food at reasonable prices. Even during the week, Junction Tavern is packed with hungry customers sitting in the high-ceilinged dining room which also has a view of the kitchen. In the summer, the sofa lined bars are empty as everyone is outside enjoying the spacious and beautiful garden.

Location: 101 Fortess Road, Tufnell Park, NW5 1AG.

The Old Brewery

This newly-built pub probably has one of the best views in London. Situated inside the University of Greenwich campus, the beer garden has a stunning view which overlooks the river onto London's most striking buildings like the 02 arena and Canary Wharf. Surrounded by the University's gorgeous Edwardian buildings, the pub provides excellent quality food at good prices.

Location: The Pepy's Building, The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, SE109LW
